With the cold and soon to be snowy MA I was wondering what you folks use to clean out.

I have a 24" Ariens with the LCT engine. Going on my third winter with it and so far so good.

Shovel, and a Cub Cadet tractor with a 46" manual plow.
Tried using a walk behind thrower once, but it bucked like a wild bronco on the gravel drive. Unless I got a new asphalt or concrete drive, I wouldn't have one.
Wouldn't mind an older (or newer) truck with a 7-8' plow.

Would you like a second wife and one less snowblower?

The plow does the same thing.
Mine is also a horseshoe, but more of a lower case h if you include the portion that goes up the left side of the pole barn about 100' to the back shed where I keep the tractor.
I should measure each leg of the drive someday just for chits and giggles.

Mine is a yard machines 24" 5.5hp Briggs It's fired with one pull every winter since we bought it in 2007. It's a beast and throws snow a good 40ft if the shoot is up all the way. As a matter of fact I just finished snow blowing today.

40' nice, but can you reach the neighbors driveway? That's all that matters.

Almost everyone's posting pics, so I suppose I should too.
If I can't find the pic from a few years ago, I'll go take another.
Jeez, who made up this pic rule anyway?
ETA: Ok, after an arduous and thorough search which took many minutes....well, 3, I think, here's the one and only pic I have of the tractor.
Save the oohs and ahs.
