    We wanted to get Saucy a companion. So I am pleased to introduce "Maple" our 8 week old Chesapeake Bay Retriever aka "chessie" or "chessie dog". Should make a great companion as well as a great hunting dog!

    Congrats on a great dog. We had a Chesapeake bay when we lived at our old house. We didn't have the room to accommodate her level of energy and had to give her to someone with a large yard when she was about 4 months. Get ready for nonstop action.

    wildwest I think your right! Our other chihuahua put our buddies German Shorthair in his place non stop. Same shorthair that would devour large groundhogs!

    rottiman -yup, will play and plop over and pass out. Sleeping next to me as we speak.......

    Norky she'll have full run, so hopefully the property will tire her out enought not to destroy the couches or shower curtains!
