Nice score and proof that good deeds get rewarded. I bet you slept well after processing that!

I live a half mile from a good sized tree service and often get stuck behind them hauling some big ole logs up the hill to dump in their yard. I've gone up there and talked to them a few times but haven't figured out an in yet. There is no way they are making firewood out of those things.

Yup I usually sleep fairly good most nights, except for the occasional bouts of back pain.Just take it easy for a couple days after ''overdoing it''. I know what my limits are now & don't keep going like when younger.Take more frequent breaks, stop before back etc start hurting.Nothing to prove anymore,it don't have to be done in one day.

Had my vintage Super Pro 125C since April, not really given it a much of a test since restoration was completed in June.Found out Sunday that even 30 inch White Oak is nothing for this beast.Pulls that heavyweight .404 square chisel full skip chain with very little effort. When speed, pulling power & reliability is considered - there's a reason this model was "King Of The Forest" when cutting the massive old-growth trees in the Pacific Northwest in the early to late 1970's.Its not light however.

    Makes my 2100CD & 288XPW Husky's almost seem like toys in comparison....

A few more........ Someone else likes the stacks of White/Red Oak too...Taller than the Mulberry/Honey Locust which was here for up to 3 years.Burned about half of it,then remainder was moved to other part of yard to have a spot for this new stuff.
