Put my 361 up for sale on C/L today, had a phone call within 10 minutes of posting and was sold within a half hour Guy was a tree guy, said a member of his crew straight gassed his 361, so owner of company told him to go get another and get reimbursed, he tried to beat me down $50 told him I was firm on the price and he gladly paid it, even with the crappy safety chain with no life left in it that i through on only reason I sold it was to to fund the porting job on my 362 http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/tls/5096872273.html Stihl MS361 Chainsaw - $375 (Everett) Stihl MS361with 20" ES bar and chain. Saw is in pretty good condition and has a brand new chain brake handle just installed. Saw starts and runs just fine, has good compression and no scores or blemish's on piston or cylinder wall
really! Wow, I bought it off C/L with a new bar and skip tooth chain about 3 years ago for $300. Thinking I should of asked $400, but I am happy with what i got for it. like I said it funds the porting of my 362C
I know, I was just so surprised on how fast it sold, usually that is a sign it is under priced but in this case i think it was just a good timing thing as the ad is still active and i have not got any other responses except for a text from a scammer
You hit it right on the mark IMO. They were $589 new plus tax. I figure about half of new used, going up down by condition. Sold one nicer for $325.
I've sold 2 for $400 and $450 that were slightly nicer. The 361 is a desirable model. Tends to bring a little more.
I usually delete my ads right when they sell, I decided to leave this up 24 hours just to see if there was going to be any other interest in it (more of a curiosity thing than anything else) call me weird I just got home from work and deleted it, and there was no more interest in it
