Sunday forecast is for 1-2 inches of rain, possible up to 3 inches in some areas. I'm thinking there will be a lot of coastal flooding. Not good at all. Lots of events will be washed out. This is a big tourist area along our coast with many events scheduled.

A Flood Watch is on for this area, we'll check the Brook today before the rains come in.

I took a ride back in, the Brook is down so if the forecast stays the same it should be fine.

This is from weather underground for our area, the Brook should be churning out some water by Monday.

The pointer is in the wrong area, we are at the end of that dead end road next to the power line. The Kennebec river is close. Ships used to come up it from the ocean. That river is tidal water but can really flood over its banks.

Drove thru town on 17 today Larry, on way down to Cushing to visit some friends. My wife asked if Chelsea wasn't where one of the hoarders was from... ;) Yer gittin famous... :D

Let's hope we don't get hammered with all that rain. Causes a lot of damage.

two inches of rain is very likely going to cause flooding. If we get rain and wind, trees will uproot and tip over for sure. Just the way it is. I don't think the forecast has thunder storms in it so maybe the wind won't be outrageous.
Are you up out of any flood zone?

Yup. We're near the Andy in Turner, but up on a small hill so no problem.
