Got home today, somewhere around mid-day. Surgery seemed to go okay. It was a long one and they said I bled a lot. Some complications especially after surgery. Had a drainage valve that came apart and had to be pulled out. OUCH! They said I'd only feel some tightness but it was in further than the nurse thought. I did give her the H for that one as it hurt like crazy. But they got it out. Still have some valve in there that will come out in a week so have to wear a battery pack for the next week.

Following surgery I have to say it was more painful than the original but then it seemed to get better. Then, it got worse again. I do hurt quite a lot and can't seem to raise my foot. Very difficult getting up and down and especially getting in and out of bed. So we'll take it easy the next few days and see what happens.

Overall, I'm still glad that old one is out because of the metals getting into my blood. We are hoping and praying that we can overcome this little setback but only time will tell.

Thanks to everyone for your concerns and your prayers. I'll be back on the forum no doubt in the next couple of days but can't sit here at the computer very long. I know everyone will understand.

All the above good wishes and prayers echoed here. I'm sure you'll be in fine milk crate sitting form in no time.

Now don't you go getting ornery with "The Ornery One" when it comes to needing something! Do you have a bell to ring when you're hungry or thirsty?!
    Glad you're home, Backwoods Savage!

Glad your surgery went as best as expected Dennis.
Find a comfortable spot and relax - did the doctor say not to sit on a milk crate for a while;)

Prayers will be offered until we see pictures of you and Mrs Ornery stacking that split pile. May God send his angels for a little overtime work.
