Ideas to get a small, heavy crate from east coast to Wyoming?

    Not too big, 16 x 16 x 36", but just over fedex and ups weight limit, its 150lbs. Trucking companies want a few hundred dollars freight it too. Any ideas?

    freight is going to be it, unless you can split into 2 crates. then fed ex / ups.

    I think I read somewhere that Fastenal ships heavy packages. Got one near y0u?

    FedEx will deliver to a business up to 150 lbs, so maybe there's a business address you could send it to.

    Thank you. It is 165 lbs, though I do have a business to send it to if needed...

    Looks like you're stuck with LTL. FedEx freight is the cheapest for my company, but we have negotiated rates...so I'm not sure if they are cheapest for people off the street. I'd try them first. I'd SWAG it at $300 and 5 days.
