    Who's that? A local guy?

It's my middle name, with William as the first name.

    Yea, weather guru.
    from PSU/EDU web site
Penn State's William Ryan has been a leader in air quality forecasting in the mid-Atlantic for many years. He developed the first operational ozone forecast models for the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan areas in 1993, extending to Philadelphia in 1996. He has been an operational air quality forecaster in the mid-Atlantic, for both ozone and fine particles, since 1995. He has also provided technical analysis and advice to the State of Maryland on subjects ranging from photochemical modeling to data trend analysis

Pretty much back to normal, thanks for asking. Touched base with the vet, Benadryl at 1mg/lb is fine, but make sure it is just Benadryl (diphenhydramine). Some human allergy meds have acetaminophen or ibuprofen as well which are not OK for dogs. He also said it sounds like the reaction was limited to the skin, which is pretty normal and not indicative of a systemic reaction (anaphylactic shock) which can be much more severe and life threatening if it affects breathing.

I've both a male and female lab. They are both equally loving. The female is much more active than the male. She is also more "mothering". We have six cats. The don't pay attention to the male, but are all over the female. To me, any lab is a good lab. We just love our dogs. They are a lot of company and best friends. Hope you are able to get one of the pups. This is a good time of the year to get one and house break them.

Yeah, timing is perfect with this litter. If it were up to me, if day male first choice, female second. But it's not all my choice. I've had females before, no real issues, and I'd be happy with either.

For what we are paying, we want a male. If it were less $, maybe it would be an easier choice?
