    It was kinda bad yesterday, but I think south of here got it worse. Where's Pallet Pete and some of the other folks downstate?
    Storm went through up here fairly quick, but the rain lingered for a while.
    Maybe they all just lost power.......let's hope that's all.

    Yeah, tornados touched down in Portland near Lansing and by west branch.
    There was a storm with a lot of rotation in it heading right towards daughters house in Swartz Creek but no touch down , she lost power for the night , back on now.

    Dennis went in hospital for hip replacement on Monday , he might still be there

    Micro burst very near (Freeport Me. ) Thousands without power, and many trees down way down the coast line Storm past through quickly and no damage in my neighborhood.

    Hard to think that Dennis went through this because of a recall on the old hip implant. What a price to pay. Hip replacements have come a long ways. New products and new ways to make the cut to get at the hip. Shorter recovery time, fewer complications. However, it is always painful and it does limit you for several months.
