That looks like it has some years left in it. Is that a lathe turned dust collection port. The prior owner really made some custom components for that. I wonder what the story was. The iron table looks good from here.

My 15 year old son hasn't responded to me in over a year, so maybe today he will... Not holding my breath.

The prior owner was my neighbor. He was a VERY skilled turner. I wet sanded and paste waxed the table.

My wife bought me a fathers day card from the dogs. Not sure if it was really their idea like she said. Then baked cookies for her dad.

Decided to mow the processing area. The mower was running kind of rough so replaced plugs and decided to replace the blades, fixed the steering and adjusted the deck.

Back home I brought in some fill along the foundation where it had settled and didn't have great slope away from the house.

Best thing...after a week of eating crackers and Jello, my stomach was up to real food! :)

In the winter I use superglue on any fingertip cracks and liquid skin on anything in the palms.

Picked this up for $25. Needs a motor. Folds up and stores in a small place. Should be a good learning model for me.

Does that have multiple size pulley wheels on it for different speeds?

What is the outside wheel and handle for? That looks like a decent setup too. Nice scores.

It has a 3 speed pulley. The outside wheel/flange for bowl turning just has the handle stuck in there for unknown reasons.
