can you run a pot belly stove 1000 degrees when burning large pcs of coal like 100lbs I did have a cannon heater number 20 pot bell stove
Wow. One of the quickest and most thorough thread derailments in FHC history. Only one thing missing: Does beer go well with bacon?
"Wow. One of the quickest and most thorough thread derailments in FHC history." ... it takes focus... like that bacon flavored beer you're talkin' about...
Ok back on topic: 1) Can you fry bacon sautéed in beer on a 1000• coal fired cannon stove? 2) What the heck is a cannon stove?
I had some bacon flavored popcorn for the first time the other day. I didn't think I'd like it but I couldn't put the bag down. Bacon is dangerous...
Personally, I'd hate to run any stove at 1000 degrees. I think maybe 850 would be about my limit. 800 even better.
Before I got the old Ashley fixed to better control air intake, it pegged the surface thermo., and I'm pretty sure it was hotter. That topped out at 900. After fix, I could mostly run it below 700 fairly well. No interest in purposely running a stove that hot.
Hmmmm… Agree with Dennis and Dave, Being cast; 750 is my limit . Things would be very ugly if say water from a steam pot hit it. My opinion, no need to get it that hot. I'm funny about even getting the Fishers past 500.
