Had to get more saw fuel today.

It's called "low lead," but there is a lot of lead in there. I don't think using it in a saw is a good plan.

Yep, I realize that, and am agreeing with you. Lots of people don't realize that it actually has a lot of lead in it (due to it being called "low lead"), so I just wanted to point that out.

Gotcha. Its not as much lead as like WW2 era planes flew on but I still like you dont want to be in a cloud of it!!

 

Local Stihl dealer is pushing this fuel like crazy. He buys it at the local airport and resells it.
Says it's the fix all for all things with a small engine.
Claims 2 strokes were originally designed to run on leaded fuel

 

I'm sure two strokes were designed to run non leaded fuel. Wasnt lead in all the fuel years ago ...so it ran whatever there was.

I was just at a pump just like that in KY filling up the boat near KY Lake. 87 non-ethanol $2.89 and 10% E 87 $2.59

 

We have one NON-Ethanol gas station in Amarillo, and it's about .20 more per gallon depending on grade.
