Have been looking for a bush/plow truck for around the Ponderosa. Went to a local auction today and ended up adapting this 1978 war wagon. Original owner, it has a Artic PA plow, new tires, brake lines and battery. Powered by a 85' 300-6cyl. with a 4 speed stump puller. Runs as smooth as a Timex watch. Plow works awesome. Totally BUTT ugly but it won't be on the road anyway. Gotta name it now........................
How about "slump buster"? Or better yet, " Sherman". It's green like a tank. That thing will run forever, those straight 6 fords are pretty much bullet proof. That one has the regular straight axle in front, right?

I was actually surprised, the pic of the motor in the under the hood pic didn't look all that bad. The pic before it, with the can of wd-40, made me think you might need more than one can. If it does the job and your happy with your purchase that's all that matters. Have fun with it...
A four wheel drive that runs good, has working plow, and all new tires for that price! It's name should be Precious! Yes. That's it! But, then again, I just got done watching The Hobitt movies. Nice job buying that old girl Rotti! Good for you man!
a good buy? the tires are worth 350 used plow another 4 and battery 50 so that's close to half and the truck runs! you can throw wood in the back and not worry about scratching it... sounds purfect!
Did it come with that sweet bungee cord air cleaner hold down!? Seriously though it don't matter how it looks, that sucker will get the job done for ya just fine
