my weekend, so they are still looking for these escaped murderers and on Friday nite around midnight I think I hear knock on door but dog barked so quickly wasn't sure. I grab a weapon dog runs to back door and dog leaves me! No big deal a bat or bird, it was flying, had gone onto glassed in back porch was looking for open door to fly out. house a multi split level so I go back toward bedroom shep is on landing outside my bedroom gaurding. wife behind her and little girl have to go past her to get to the next level.. Dad your on your on.... I tell her it's OK protect thing I care about good dog... so with little sleep brother comes up we go to neighbors with tractor and 5 by 8 trailer get 3 loads popular. not a great wood but down no brush and cut to 4 foot lengths less than mile from house free and he says I owe you a favor.. then a graduation party for nephew and mow lawn dump run etc...

so at 7 I say honey I will grill chicken for dinner we have good meal... give wife glass of wine she on her sunset deck... I do dishes quick clean the kitchen... most married men will see this as an attempt to get some quality time which it was! hey if a recipe works use it:whistle:
we all go to bed and an hour later little one gets up and starts talking to mommy she doesn't feel good. so mom goes lays down with her and falls asleep:hair:

at 130 she comes to top of stairs says she doesn't feel good I go up to check her temperature and she covers me in vomit:doh:
clean up of her me stairs and laundry takes til 430 is I lay down in bed. wife comes and gets me at 6 am with a cup of coffee and a kiss I am asleep.. then at 730 drive 110 miles to 6 units I own landscape 1 plumbing in another drive home get here about 4pm.. it's 80 and daughter wants me to clean pool. water is not 80.. but I do it.
thank heavens the weekend is over!

It is a bit early in the fishing season plus at 8:30 AM, if you are here to go fishing, you have already gone out. Here is another picture of the cove. Sockeye Salmon aren't quite running yet. Another month and there will be lots of boats.

oh yeah she was feeling great today. yeah work today seemed easier then weekend. finished up some paperwork. work with the dog. I think I finally got her to do her business in fields. I love that:yes: love having a dog hate stepping in it. so the tree line in the field 150 yards from house is perfect! So this week Monday was a day of rest.

Out of 6 dogs we have owned together, 3 of them follow my husband (hide behind him) when there is a scare at night, or breaking a trial in the fields

That's cute, I never had 1, so this is a first. Lady, the Shepard is convinced mom is her job. Before her we had wife's golden and black lab. beautiful dogs very friendly. before that I got my mother's when she got sick. A rottweiler who was a big baby full of love but don't mess with her kids. be you a chipmunk or a black bear and her partner a 135 pound mutt who did what rotti, told him because she was the boss. I am guessing we will have another dog soon. All my older dogs trained the new ones. So I got to finish training Lady first.

I got a bad leg so I like bigger dogs that I trip over instead of fall on under my feet

I finally got to work a few hours on that fence at the front of the property over the last few days. I now have the top rail fence down to the gate at the road. I was very happy with what I was able to get done. Until I was cutting the top of the final few fence post off even with the top rail and managed to hit a screw! :picard:I thought I had it cleared. I had just put that screw in a little while before that when I mounted the rail! :picard:It WAS a brand new chain too. :emb:I hope it is not ruined. :picard:Do you think I can get more work out of it after I have it sharpened? Did I say it was brand new yet?:emb:

When I was younger, I thought being a real man meant tough, I was a whiskey drinking, cigarette smoking, that wouldn't back down. Stick up for the little guy or woman or kids.. whatever

Now my definitions have changed. tough is go work then get up a nite pick up puke. wife thinks I'm crazy but I love leather in a car cleans so easy. No carpets hard wood floors. cleans easier.

but I just held it down. realize she was facing me as I came up stairs. so I got "hit " in chin. 10 years from now be a good story tell her boyfriend!

Here is a few updated shots of this area. I still need to do a bunch of ground work and get the grass planted. I also need to straighten my gate up with a cable and turn buckle or something of the like. And remove the brush behind before the grass goes down. Little bit at a time.
