Wife calls me from work the other day and says "do you need any meat crates?"
me;"sure, what's a meat crate?" "what size are they?"
    wife;"I'll send you a pic"...
me;..."they seem like they would be useful","how many can you get ?"
wife;"all you want , there are twelve skids, about 120 per skid"
    me;"OK . Bring me a skid"
wife;"I'll bring you a trunk load to try. "

Well, here is my first meat crate project
    2 crates 12x18x6 inside
    6 tie wraps
1 small mod with the chainsaw:whistle:
    2 rubber bungies

    Nice!

I need to wrangle up a couple of meat crates. I would've done the same idea with the saw mod.;)

Nice, I would be building shelves to put those on and use them as storage. better than having a dump box in a tote.

Never heard them called meat crates before. My wife and I have several hundred of those but the are used to ship small perennial starts to the nursery each spring. They are real handy for storing stuff like home canned food or my favorite use is to keep kindling in them for an easy carry into the house when needed.

She works at a local steak and sea house chain. They cut all their steaks in a warehouse and ship them out in 'meat crates'.;)
kinda like a cigar box or shoe box. its just a box. guess its what you ship in it?
