Sooooo.... I'm officially a grumpy (read pi$$y) farmer. Just as it was getting dark I hear a truck, look out the window to see it pulling outta my driveway, then he guns it... I immediately thing someone broke in the shed. So out the door I go in just shorts and cowboy boots, cell phone in hand. I caught up to him at the edge of town, didn't see anything in the bed of the truck that was mine, no tailgate, so I just get the license number and truck description, also was able to get a good look at him. I book it back home to check things out, nothing was missing, I kind of jumped to conclusions. Maybe it was just a turn around, maybe he was casing the place.... new lock going on shed door today. Guy didn't look like an upstanding citizen if you know what I mean.

My grandpa beat it in my head never to turn around in someone's driveway in the country, good way to get chased down, and no reason to scare anyone. Kids these days, I tell ya!

We're what I would consider semi-country area. If anyone comes in the driveway, I know it.
If they stay more than about 2 seconds, I'm out the door to see who it is. Usually, they get a very polite demand to leave.
No, I don't need your Jehovah pamphlet, nor do I need any laundry soap, nor do I want to talk to you about your political agenda.

Advantage of having dogs...they let me know if someone's in the driveway.
Disadvantage.......dogs that can't discern between that and a car driving down the road, or a neighbor making noise. Or, a leaf fluttering by. Or me hitting my knee on the desk.

Just greet them with facial tick and say "you didn't see nuthin did ya?" When they say "no"...say "good I'm running out of room to bury people in the back yard. Now get."

Wow, that's dirt cheap, but at 4.6 GPM, seems a little wimpy.

But sir, I was just going to explain to you how this Church of Wood Hoarding works. No, its not a pyramid scheme, your stacks become bigger, every year!

I pulled the trigger o_O I have been watching sales on these for 3 straight years now, 2 sales per year on them. :banana:They have a 90 day return policy if something unforeseen comes up (though I'd rather not drive 3 hours to return it). This will feed from my existing electric water heater so the water is already tepid (not sure that is the right word TurboDiesel ?) However I very much look forward to be able to do more than rushing through shampoo and soap before the water turns cold :rootintootin::banana::thumbs: Happy anniversary to me....

wildwest , yes, tepid's definitely the right word for not so hot water.

I still recall the "hot" tub up at a cabin we rented in Whistler BC. It wasn't hot. I called it the tepid tub.

well Wild west since 1992 regular shower heads are maxed at 2.2 gpm. low flows are less so it should keep up with a regular shower. unless you got one of those 6 heads shower rooms that are so nice.. and on my wife's want in future list in bathroom remodel.:hair: try to explain it honey to do that we need to upgrade well pump pressure tank line size and number of water line to bath etc.. that's a huge job... but they look so nice on hgtv!
