Took a Little Walk...

with two of the kids and picked up some treasure. Last night was league night! Got 199 of them over a brief 15 minute walk-- couldn't have driven to wally world in that time.

 

Well, it's not firewood, but........cool nonetheless.
Very nice haul.

 

Nice! Keep it up, you'll probably end up with a lot of free fodder for the scatter-guns!
(expect about 25% of what you recover to fragment right as they leave the thrower. It happens but, usually you have two slow, warbly chunks floating through the air. You're awesome if you do a double on those! )

Nice find! Like Beetle-Kill said, a several of them will break from the force of being thrown again, but you can't beat free!

 

We already pick up and rethrow the ones we miss, so we are used to seeing some break here and there.

 

Sounds like you're having fun, that's the important thing.

 

I can really scare some clays. But its fun. sometimes I even hit one

 

We use the ones we find for pistol practice....now that's what I call recycling

 

You know they say the clays are "bio-degradable" but they never seem to degrade. I guess everything will... eventually

 

I think you have to "dust 'em" first!

 

I have a little "Y" shaped holder that sticks in the ground...They make a nice target!
