Came home from work yesterday and decided to finish picking up some small standing dead wood I cut a little while back. Figured why not get a small workout in so I jogged them up the hill and out of the woods holding them across my shoulders. Threw in some shoulder presses with them when I tossed them to the ground. Will c/s/s today when I get home.
That's funny. I've done tricep extensions when taking a couple rounds out to the stacks while on a walk. Curls too. Maple?
"I jogged them up the hill and out of the woods holding them across my shoulders" Oh yeah... I do that all the time too with some small red oak & ash logs... ...
capetownkg , I've never seen a shed or lean-to with 2x posts like that........very interesting. Should help carry a lot of extra weight. Do you store elephants on the roof?
I find it's easier to carry one of those logs under each arm if I use snow shoes in deep snow... .........
Yeah, but you know as well as I do, that the dang ants go down your neck when you carry 'em on your shoulders like that. It's less bothersome to put one on each shoulder, especially when jogging. Boy, don't I know it.
Im pretty sure the original owners built it so no clue. I do know they didnt put enough slope on it and now I have to replace the roof of it due to pooling water and rotting plywood. Havent figured out how to fix the issue easily or just replace roof and do it later down the road again? No worries on the thread highjacking all thats what makes this place great!
Lower the support 2xs on the posts, or raise the ledger on the building. Is the roof shingled? Some other kind of material, or just plywood?
