what kind of chain saw do you use

    what kind of chain saw do you use
    I use a poulan pro 18 inch gas chain saw
    to cut my firewood
    starts up every time in 3 to 5 pulls

    Mostly I have used a Stihl 026 but recently bought a Husky 555 and I'm loving it.

    primary go to saws Dolmar 64xx and 79xx units ( pair of each)- various bar lengths, Stilh 084 /42"bar for really big stuff and small saws dolmar 112 and an Echo for trimming or when brute size isn't needed. The 64 and 79 got doubled up when a dealer was dropping? the Dolmar line and blew them out at cost. Couldn't pass it up

    well, I love my still 260 pro for small stuff. light and quick. got a husky rancher I bring I've used 2 times me when I got stihl stuck.. my favorite was a 67 cc, old jonsered, that I am still trying to replace.

    my experience.... I would rather have a good sharp chain and OK saw that best saw with OK chain!

    Stihl 029 Super is my go to...but have been using the Husky 359 more lately.

    It's pretty hard to beat a nice running 359 or it's red brother the 2159.

    Stihl MS361 with a 20" bar, 25" for big stuff and a semi chisel skip chain. going to ditch the 361 soon and just run my MS362 once I get it back from Mastermind in Aug

    Depends on how energetic I feel on any particular day. Take your pick. :) But it's very rare that I break out the 660 with the 36" bar.
