We spent all of late Winter and Spring deciding for sure to take the leap and shopping around for our first wood stove, so we missed last heating season. We finally settled on a Pacific Energy T5 Alderlea Classic in Antique White, from a local vendor. They are coming this morning to install. Here's some "before" images...

Looking forward to seeing it; wasn't familiar with that stove ... just looked it up and it looks great in the Antique White enamel.

I never would have thought that I would have gotten anything but flat black painted; but, when I saw the antique white in the store I realized it look great with our decor. Got a good price on the stove, so the enamel cost me about the same as the MSRP of the flat black:D

That's an interesting hearth pad. Stove is ember protection only?
Almost talked myself into an Alderlea, but now I don't remember all the specs.

Ember protection only and only 5" to the back wall.
You all can see why we chose the glass. That walnut floor in that nook is super special. We really didn't want to cover up any of it.:D
