Sure did Fanatical1 and bogydave as the old girl is rusting away from me, I did this year put new rear shocks and leaf spring hangers on her-she fills my need and after replacing tranny, I hope to get a couple more years out of her as she approaches 220K-still runs like a top-I pulled those trees across the ravine into my landing area with my tow strap
Yes bogydave, aside from that elm or whatever it is in the pic I sought ID for on another thread, that area is in the bottom of the hollow and I have shade until @ 1130-unfortunately, this beech and red oak represent the last of cool working in the mornings-what I have down now is up the ridge so have to start extra early-ash, maple, locust and cherry along with some red elm-as long as I start early though I'm ok warming up with the day...I trust this finds a transplanted Mountaineer well in AK
Yes, I noticed the ashscratcher dig---all good ole buddy Fanatical1 -we're neighbors and I think I'll come stalk those big whitetails in your area? We have decent deer here, OH has brutes as a rule!!!
I say noon thirty too. That must mean we are all a bunch of fart smellers, er I mean smart fellers. - see the double what I did there? fellers. OK. I crack myself up.
How did that happen!!?? Darn Autocorrect... Come on over, your right were not too far apart. I usually just hit them with my car these days. Two in the past two years.
Notice the nice barber chair on the red oak? It fell fine-no harm, no foul...I had a path cleared to escape...
