    Soft in the middle is ok. At splitting time you can go around it and keep what is good. Questionable stuff can be firepit wood

    Pretty much means a quick change to the plans, so to drop off the first load fast and then head right back for what's in the pictures? Did ya get it before someone else did? Hope so.

    Yeah, silver maple is decent wood. It's definitely worth the little bit of work to re scrounge those pieces.

    I did do a fast unload and returned for almost all of the Maple.

    I'm not sure, I try for 3-4 Toyota loads a day. The needs splitting piles are growing.

    You've got to have a big pile of round , enough for a year or 2 ?

    When do you split & stack with the heat ,
    Not gonna be cool till Nov ? You must be pretty acclimated to the heat..

    Maybe you need to cut a couple of those trees in the second photo. Wait! Those aren't trees, they hold up power lines.... :bug:
