Before buying my house and developing a firewood obsession, I was 70lbs heavier and had a cooking obsession. My 4th annual Memorial Day BBQ was born out of that. Here's some of what I'll be serving: Smoked Turkey cold cuts: My buddy caught some salmon yesterday, gutted and deboned them for me: Cured them overnight in salt, pepper, and maple syrup, currently awaiting their turn on the smoker: Firing the egg with about 1/2 charcoal, 1/2 black cherry chunks: 30lbs pork shoulder: Ill be adding more pics through the day - stay tuned!
I wish I had more pics - a great time was had by all - it was like BBQ Thanksgiving. I thought I way overplanned on the pulled pork - but I think many of my guests ended up taking it for a BBQ souvenir... Everything you see here is gone - I don't even have an extra rib...
