The pile for 14/15 is slowly growing. Another heaping truckload thrown onto it this morning. Mostly Ash from one nice size tree. And some white pine mixed in that I cleaned up that had blown over the trail with the wind. Now I am going to start on cleaning up this area most of the pine is no good but the leaning Ash will be nice. I'll get another truck load out of this area this afternoon.

Ha! I should have known. That leaning "Ash" was no Ash at all. It turned out to be a Box Elder. :zip: Oh well, I took it anyway and it is now mostly in the pile. I have to go back and finish that area. There is still a little of the Box Elder, some White Pine that is good, and some Ash in that area that can be thinned out a bit. Two truckloads today. I had to get back by 3:15 for the kiddos off the bus.

No. It isn't. I burn it when it is there. Just like the White Pine. The White Ash, which is what I thought it was from sitting in the truck on the trail, has a lot more BTUs in it. But, it will burn just fine.
