Poplar again scored more a while back. Stinky stuff but free. It is in the 60's and nice n sunny outside!
I have a friend that lives near the Canadian border and poplar is what he predominantly burns all winter in an old Jotul Combifire stove. His house is always warm!
Nice looking addition to your collection, PP. Where & when I was twenty something, Pabst was everywhere. Probably the most common suds next to Old Style. Seems to me that it is a completely different beer nowadays.
There is plenty of it in these parts. I would never pay for it, but free wood is free wood and it all burns the same once seasoned. Good score..
Pbr was sold from Milwaukee to folks south of Wisconsin. It's now marketed towards hipsters and lumbersexuals. It's very popular in that scene.
How do you know if you are a lumbersexual? Do you have to drink PBR to be one? I have plenty of wood and have drank some PBR. Not my choice of beverage, but better than none.
Always hiding a clue in plain sight, eh Horkn ? After the ruskies bought out PBR, it ain't no good without the red eye addition to it....
It's not a hipster beer here lol... Maybe elsewhere but not here. They owned Schlitz and a few others Too. Around here it's the bikers and bars that serve it $3 a pitcher or less. I fell in love with it when the changed the recipe back to the original a few years back.... That was a noticeable difference for me.
