    The cool dry weather has really slowed down my grass. I might make it 7 days without having to mow this week. Its been 3-4 days up to this point.

    Dry here right now but grass is long... gonna "get it" this aftanoon...
    Walked down in the woods this morning. So nice. Ferns are up, trees fully leaved. Lots and lots of deadwood down everywhere. Bugs too... :headbang:

    Not working this morning. Going to a town birthday party for my Mom's 90th. Had an awesome family party for her on Sunday.

    We have been getting heavy fog/mist in the morning and sunny skies in the afternoon. More like August than May.

    Spent the day at my satellite lot cutting and splitting and oh yeah, stacking too. Stacked a total of 4 cords in 4 days. The processing is almost done, Theres about 1 cord left to process then I should have room for my tree length delivery coming in mid July. I think this splitter wants to disown me, been running it hard. Kudos, it has split everything thrown its way. Pics tomorrow

    Turned the kids loose today with the riding mower and grass trimmer at the farm. I think my days of doing all the yard work by myself are coming to an end.

    Rotti, I live by that one.. 3 and half car garage unheated as of yet... every winter at onset of frost wife's car goes in garage.. usually takes most of a weekend to reorganize.. that's why it went from 2,5 to 3.5... that was a mistake should have gone to 4.5.. plus a 30 x 40 horse barn all full.. if you build it they will fill it!

    I took this picure of a white spotted sawyer beetle at work today. Apparently harmless as they feed on sick and diseased trees. They help break down trees to compost in the forest. If you zoom in, the red spots behind its' head are parasitic mites.
