I'd like to know what the weight of some of those bottom logs were. Also, how many board feet or how many cord of wood could you get from that? It would also be interesting to know what the total cost was in bringing it down and cleaning up.

You start with the biscuits at breakfast, 5 hours later go back for lunch and a burger, then after 5 more hours get another burger.

Unfortunately, 10 hrs of hand splitting will get 1 round from 15 feet up on the trunk into splits. Only 87 more rounds to go after that.

That is a lot of wood. Anybody know the climber? Did you see him taking the picture? I think he is a member on AS. He was taking a pic of his new 661 on the job to rub it in all our faces. Sweet pic on top of the tree with city in the background. I remember him posting it on AS. IIRC it was a 661 before the recall. I too would like to know what that job cost.

I'd say that tree was on town/city property judging by its location. Impressive sized tree to say the least, had to cost a pretty penny to drop. Just the trunk section alone took up the better part of a 40 yd dumpster alone.
The trunk had to be 6' across easy. It looked healthy by the show of the sections coming down
