What the heck happened!!!! Yesterday we had the windows open and today feels like late March(barely 60ºF outside!)....... 66ºF in the shack and I'm this close(imagine my fingers about 2 inches apart) to firing the stove.

Freakin cold out up here. Frost and freeze warnings posted for tonight. Glad I haven't planted yet. Wind was howling but seems to have died down now. We have a 12' X 4' above ground pool for the grandkids. The wife spent hours Sunday cleaning it and emptied all the chitty water. The wind flipped it over on top of the fence. Haven't looked for holes yet. Had the stove on earlier but it's off now. But I can see it will be on again soon.

Wow, nippy out there, but the sun is out now so I won't gripe. Couldn't see any frost this morning, but I didn't risk it. Still waiting before I put in the really tender plants.
Love my early cup of coffee and view of the yard now so full of green and spring blooming plants.

Glad I didn't plant the garden yet. We have some seeds in, But they haven't popped up yet. Might need to place some domes over them Friday PM JIC?

I was on the road yesterday and pulled into the MWP plant on my way by. They had several hundred tons stored outside by the looks of things but nowhere near as much as I've seen there before. Not a lot of activity that I could see. No trucks loading product or unloading raw material. They had several large piles of sawdust that surprised me seeing how they are a chip to pellet plant. There was a lot of steam coming out of the plant so the dryers must have been in use so I assume they were running. They haven't made much (any?) progress on their biomass co-gen plant.

Well you folks are a bit slow today, not a single mention of how long to hoisting the first weekend brew.

I had to rearrange my warsh schedule since watching the little one meant it couldn't be today. The boss is going to grand pals day so I get the duty.

Yesterday I did the warsh, cleaned, got the stove ready for next season, and mowed a big part of the front lot. The whistle pig is still running around.

Ummmm ya, does anyone know? Destructions confuse me.... Do I need the black foam filter + the blue bag for the drywall bag? Or only the black foam one? :picard:
