I think I know a little about compromising and have been married longer than you have existed IIRC. Going out to eat and having the other party left with no real choice does not qualify as compromising.

What a difference a week has made. We have turned from brown to bright green. The red Japanese maple is now in full leaf. The oaks are still filling out but nearly there. So much in bloom all at once. I pitty those with hay fever.
Can't hardly believe memorial weekend is next. Usually our first trip out with the camper, but not this year. I think this is the first memorial day weekend that rain isn't in the forecast. We won't be going anywhere overnight. I always thought that once I was retired, I would be camping week on end, but it is the opposite. I have a lot more appreciation for being home and having my fire in my fire pot and then sleeping in a nice soft bug free bed.

I ran the tiller through the smaller of the two large raised garden beds yesterday and the boss has already got some seeds planted in it.
