Watching "Big Bad Wood" NatGeo tree service

Bahstin!!! Bahhhhstin!

 

I can say as a former tree climber, they have all the latest and best rigging and climbing gear... Some big money.. and like the saws, everything looks brand new....

 

It's a cool show though. I just watched the one where they crush a car parked underneath a tree.

 

If I was running that job, that car would have been moved, just so it wasn't covered in saw dust etc... Morning dew sawdust on an expensive car like a mercedes, and then the sun bakes that into the paint, not a good thing... That's exactly what happened to another tree service I knew...The guy got sued for a paint job... I think that was staged.. Anyone with common sense would have moved that car... They should have taken two pieces of trunk instead of one big piece seeing the ground men couldn't control it... that way no damage..

 

Yeah, I had that pegged as a bit of stage drama.. no owner around.. little chitbox car.. I was wondering how they kept a straight face.
