It might have cut a little faster if he had used the magical crosscut sawing motion. I'm not sure why he's cutting it in the springtime though - doesn't he know it will rot if it sits too long?
Do they have loooooooooooong hoses so you can go down in the woods too. The compressor must be about the size of a house... that thing might be handy for limbing trees... but you'd need a compass to find em after.
For a small log like that I'll stick with my Husky. By the time you get a cookie off that way you could have several with almost any 50 to 60 cc saw and not have created any longitudinal holes in it.
They can cut steel with water - but it works a lot faster if you add some abrasives. I could get my hands on a plasma cutter - that should make short work of it!
