Just don't go hangry grocery shopping. You end up with a ton of crap you didn't want or need.

    Frickin' winter wonderland here!
Snowed from Sat. until now, but only accumulated about 3-4". Too warm, just hit and melted.
I went to the shop this morning for some expanded metal, to look at the hills, you'd think it was January. And it will be gone by Wed.

Well my littlest one had her first communion today. Then a good number of the family came over to our house for the party and Mother's Day get together. It all went well. I then just installed the air conditioners. Figured I might as well get it done. Temps to be cooler for the next week though.

I should go out and finish cutting the grass sooner or later. But right now I am drinking a tall glass of sweet tea and vegging in the chair.

Managed to get out and weed my small strip garden and get some things moved before the rain started sprinkling. Campinspecter took me out for lunch - Chinese so we have leftovers for tomorrow. Enjoyed a few minutes of Face Time with the grandkids once I figured out how it works. that is so cool except they were more excited about seeing the dogs than grandma. Campinspecter was looking rather weird until he took off the dust mask he was using to clean the boiler. Technology these days. Who ever would have thunk TV telephone would really happen.

Mowed, took the dogs out for their run and split a little elm with the maul before it rained.

Well I cut a little more of the grass around dinner time last night. Then it really looked like it was going to rain. So I put the mower and everything else away and shot a few baskets with my son. Then I went back to being lazy and vegging in the chair. I still have a portion of the yard outside the fence to cut which is getting pretty long. But I need to pull the deck off the Troy Built Mustang zero turn mower and sharpen the blades first. That needs to happen before I cut the rest of the grass. Then I have all the grass at the camp to cut. I have to inflate a low tire on the Simplicity Broadmoor rider so my son and daughter can cut grass with me at the same time at the camp. With two of us following each other, it helps make quick work of it. Weather does not make it look like I will be able to cut any grass tonight. Back to the grind today.

99 likes casinos, yoorerdave doesn't. So I spent the day driving and took her to two different casinos where she lost the money I gave her for Mothers Day. She enjoyed the day and I ended up buying a tire for the riding mower. Once we got back, the tire went on, the push mower got running and the lawn got cut. I know we are way behind some of the other members around here, (for cutting lawns) but this is our first cutting of the year. The rider ran great and the push sounds like it needs a bit of attention.

Looks like we'll get the first cut here in about a week. Trees are just starting to bloom. Spring is trying to show up here.

The day is getting better. A rough day at work today....which if you really compare it to some peoples hardships, really isn't that bad...sitting back with a margarita, cheese curds and a fire. :)
