I don't normally loan saws but it was a family member, and how could they mess up a Shindaiwa 110 electric?? This is what it looked like when it came back...
x4 When we had trouble with a tornado in the next town my daughter wanted to borrow my saw, an 026. My answer was very simple, no way. I would like to be a nice guy but a first time user walking into a disaster area with a chain saw looked to me like making things worse in a hurry.
I don't loan my saws out to any one .i will go drop the tree do all the work and take the wood home.I have a lot of money invested in my eq for someone that really don't know how to use it.
I'm with you guys as well, I'll loan you MY time running MY equipment. If you want some of the wood you better be doing the grunt work to earn it! Stuff just never gets returned the way it was borrowed out.
I have an old home lite with a push thub oiler..... They only ask once and they can not understand why I don't loan out my ms310.
