I just used an actual hammer to drive a couple pounds of nails. Exhausting.

all cleaned up now! only 1 minor whittling injury (3 stitches) 10 boys, 5 or 6 adults.. not bad. several had talked about knife safety myself included I guess life will teach those who know it all. boy that needed stitches father was here a good dad... he told his son.. I told you twice about safety then you did it your way! next time you will listen and practice safety because as you get older tools get bigger so learn with simple stitches now! knife safety increased after blood and seeing bone on a pointer finger.

dad's like I saw it coming but he can still go to school, hes right handed and cut finger on left hand...

I guess boys are same every generation.. also had tick lessons..

Canadian vt, good on you and the other dad's for getting out and teaching the boys some valuable lessons they will never forget. That is good camaraderie.

Spent this morning cleaning the wood hauler. The interior hasn't looked this good since the day I bought it..lol.. When I only had a townhouse apartment I always washed both trucks every weekend. I'm normally meticulous about vehicles by my poor truck was out of control..lol.. It's in better shape now and I washed the wife's too.. 1430693970741.jpg 1430694021509.jpg 1430694060012.jpg

I fought a stump off and on for about 3 hours and change. Not sure who won. Maybe the stump.... Tractor couldn't do much with it, Truck couldn't pull it, and it dulled 2 chains before it was at least buried below grade.

I can't see it anymore so I am gonna claim the victory.

It was a 10" dbh pear tree, never would have guessed that root structure.

:rootintootin: I hear bath running and splashing lil one!! Thanks soooo much WildWildWest . Also, I cannot get out the lil tiny rubberbands out of her hair, he makes quick work of it the thin blade on his pocket knife. Yes, scissor blades are too clumsy.
