Awesome !! Nice set up that some birch in the tailer ? seeing some white oak leaves on the ground , nice woods !
FranknBeans-our woodsheds look very similar, cept yours is way ahead of mine...pics to follow-No Bogy, that is maple in the foreground and ash just behind-and you are correct-this white oak is there also
Fanatical1-I have a rather large farm that I only utilize for timber and whitetail management-and of course I scrounge all I can, wherever I can---only drop dead, diseased and hazardous, except for Ash....always looking for some good ash...
And PapaDave and Sir Savage, I honor your respective welcomes...I have learned much and so enjoyed your posts over the last couple months...told ya'll I've been lurking
This is 2 loads moved in the Polar trailer, all maple, I left load of ash in the trailer, onto my 12ft trailer for the 7 mi trek home
Well, kinda Bogy-If you look between the stack dividers, hanging upside down are 2 8pt racks-maybe I should move them to the front of the 4x4 posts? They are not too large-I have others but they are inside-bowhunting is another passion, for another day-Man I cant get over how nice everyone is here but I am not surprised, at all
ever think of adding a rear window protector. Some of us here have been know to break out rear PU windows
Welcome Ashwatcher! Like many have said above- you'll fit in fine, here! Great shed, man! Great set up, man! Man, you've got it going on! I'm down I77 a piece from you, in Wytheville, Va- my boss lives in Princeton- any time you travel south give me a heads up- bring your Fiskars Eric VW
Yes sir, the thought has crossed my mind-but I've sunk a ton in the old girl lately just because she suits my needs-haul wood, dogs and deer...in that order...just have to be careful loading because the road from there to home is not bad, but I could use one for sure-
Eric I sure will-Love Wytheville, especially your gas prices!!!! I head that way 2-3 times a year and I have several friends in Princeton-thank you for your welcome as I have enjoyed many of your posts while lurking also
Sorry to disappoint you Ashwatcher, but the wood shed in my avatar is not my real woodshed, it is my fantasy land woodshed. My real one, which is much less impressive by the way, is pictured below. Yours looks amazing though!
There is nothing unimpressive about your woodshed sir-to the contrary, it looks well built and well-stocked-I built my in 2010 after much planning and design thoughts gathered from many-It does have, and I highly recommend, expanded metal floor, shadow boarded ends and of course, faces south---I throw uglies in between the rows but air flow stays constant-and the racks are for Bogydave
