You didn't go running right down there and grab those 20 bags? People have lost their pig cards for less than that.:picard:

My score for the day, and probably final of the season. Based on the weather forecast, this should be my last test burn.

"SPECIALLY FORMULATED FIR PELLETS". Dr. Evil laugh.

Right after I hit the packy. Craving an angry orchard!!

If they had loose bags by the door, chances are they have full tons out in the yard. Expect a full pig recon report later tonight!

They're relocating their plant to my area....about 20 min. away. LOTS of orchards around here......never saw one get angry, though.

Got the early buy email from the nearest pellet dealer the other day. $199/ton cash and carry for Pro Pellets/Magic Spark. $239 for Somerset.

Their normal price is $209 for the PP/MS pellets. I'm thinking that I'll gamble and see if Family Farm and Home has their $25/off per ton sale in August like they have the past two season. I paid $187.50/ton the past two years when they've had that sale. Worst case I lose, and $209/ton is still cheaper than heating oil, at least for now.

Posts like this just reinforce the idea of how much we are getting screwed here in New England.....Cheapest pellets, at a dealer, from a local mill are $260/ton.:(
