    What we are seeing is frustration boiling over from years of abuse by the state (gov). How do we prevent things like this from happening? The answer is freedom. Get rid of all the barriers to starting and running businesses. Taxes, zoning, fees, licensing, minimum wage laws, etc. all done away with. I guarantee you people in those parts of the city would thrive as small business owners in their community rather than black market dealers (can we please end the freaking drug war already? That's another part of the state abuse and poor people).

    Get the state out of education too. People in certain areas are not taught marketable skills so they're not going to be hired by employers (even at the minimum wage rate) because the employer doesnt want to hire someone at $7/hr when the employee is only bringing in $3-4/hr worth of value to the business. Now if those workers are able to work at their market value (which goes up based on skills, experience, etc) of $3/hr and the businesses in gaining value at the market rate rather than losing value at the rate set by law then the employer would hire those with entry level skills and more of them.

    State abuse = Cause, Rioting = Effect, Freedom (Liberty) = Solution.

    Just like everyone else that pays their own way in America. It works for everyone else willing to put forth some effort.
