I was just hoping to made Dex's heart skip a beat for a second there ......................... I'm standing pat ............................. for now! I'm not even going to pull the trigger on one of those Earthquakes, although I almost did!!! That 38 looks like a sweet little limber!!!
I think I bought 12 last Saturday, will head out in a bit to see what I can scare up today. [EDIT] There are 4 in boxes at the top that did not show in the picture.
I don't think there is 12 cheap saws for sake in my county now!! U have convinced myself its cause I don't live up north or west where big saws are used kots and everybody keeps 2 firewood saws.
Never see anything like that around here unfortunately.Occasionally a small older Mac top handle,Poulan or Homie, usually its newer small-medium sized Stihl & Husqvarna with the usual late model plastic Poulan added to the mix.Even farm/estate sales aren't much different lately.. Certainly nothing that I'm interested in.Just got back from Flea Market at Fairgrounds, its the first weekend of the month, had been a couple years since I went. Not a thing there, lots of decent old wrenches, farm machinery manuals, some small farm tools but not a single chain saw to be found.Mostly newer household stuff,coins/stamps,lots of repro stuff & usual nicknacks. I've got an eagle eye & am always scanning as I walk by those tables or booths....
This load was free... Gave a bunch of them away and got several running with little effort including the Roper/Craftsman 3.7, Poulan 3300 and both Homelite 245's .
A free 3.7 Crafts? Maybe you should tell the Cat over there? Or put yours up for $100? LOL Nice score...
I'd rather have a saw I can use. Personally. The only saw I want to not run, is the saw for my Mancave area downstairs. Still looking for an old saw (old and full wrap is preferred) As for that Craftsman? He finally sold that saw (on anothersite). Thank goodness.
