Filling the basement with what's left of 14/15 wood. Had helpers. After 3 loads wife had enough & sent me for a bike ride. Got about 2 trailer loads left to bring in.
Looking good Dave good helpers you got there I just can't figure out how you can load that thing up like that and not have anything falling off on the ground
Awesome Dave but I think you had room for a couple more splits on the trailer. Do you put the little helper thru the firewood hole to stack? Knowing how kids are , I bet so!
It`sl ike stacking hay. Have to tie the rows in to one another. Easier said than done. Especially with wood.
Hey bogydave, just looked at all your links. Very nice work! Loved the wood cutting process and workbench threads. You are the king when it comes to loading that cart. My idea of a full cart is about half of what you put in yours.
" Don't mind the mule, load the wagon " Yea in & out the chute, great thing with kids, they have some fun, they'll listen & work hard with you. At the age, " I do it myself ". Keeps me on my toes, gotta know where she is at all times, gets on top of the stack in a heart beat, watches close too, almost can start the atv gramma gets nervous.
tough grass to make it thru winter. Just starting to see some green coming thru the dead brown layer Wish it was fake, no mowing
Thanks Much lighter weight after 3 years seasoning. + I drive slow & a short distance Have a lot smaller loads with green birch, The trailer is like me, getting older & may need some surgery soon, new plywood
Dave, I'm betting the helper will like it much better when the ears don't have to be covered. We finally got into the 60's and are enjoying it!
Yea If the atv is out, she'll be on it. Loves being outside no matter the weather. Had a fire in the pit, made "s'mores". Trees starting to turn green but still cool.
We too are starting to see more green in the trees. Black flies came out today too. Skeeters probably won't be out for another 2-3 weeks. Hopefully, 3.
Skeeters are out big time here been out for about a week & getting thicker the big slow ones are the first to hatch. Can haul about a pint Hoping the little snow we had means less will hatch.
And if we don't get a wet spell, we'll finally have a year with a short skeeter season. I'm hoping. It will mean I have to haul lots of water for the fruit and vegetables but it is worth the extra time.
