It looks like my neighbor just bought a new bigger husqvarna lawn tractor. Makes me wonder what he did with his old large frame simplicity. He's got no mechanical ability, that I know for sure.

Yes. I just used it today and it mows great. I went from a Gravely 16g (still keeping it) to this husqvarna and am still getting used to feeling flex in the mower. Nothing bad, just different than my Gravely tank.

What do they mean by fabricated deck? Aren't they all technically fabricated?

    Are they meaning stamped?

I believe that the difference is that the fabricated deck is 11 gauge welded versus the stamped out deck... To me, there is a significant difference. Lifetime warranty on fab deck.

Putting it that way, yes, that is a major difference. I'd go welded deck any day vs stamped.

EXPENSIVE. First lawn mower that I decided to finance. 0% is kind of a no Brainer though. It's just weird having a lawn mower payment.

Most welded decks are much heavier duty than stamped decks. One exception being Deere's 7-iron decks which are hammered out of a sheet of 7ga steel. I wanna see that press! :bug:

I used to work for a large stamper in Milwaukee that had a 400 ton press. That was the biggest one. It could do .312 thickness, while 7 ga is .1793.

    That thing was noisy.:heidi:
