Being it's dry around here, I'm just waiting for the idiot down the road to start burning brush, does it every year during the burn ban.
I plan on an easy day today, I'll buck up the last Cherry an clear some trail that a top from a aspen That's good, the wind gust have been pretty good all day up here.
I started hauling the Cherry out to an area in the woods so I can split it, we still have a 2 or 3 trailer loads left. I would split it in the same area I cut it except it's a mess (this is the first time working this area) so our plan is to split it in the area in the last two pics an haul it out with the truck. We have a family member in the hospital so my cutting is on hold, just some splitting when I can, prayers can't hurt.
We had good news and bad news, we'll find out how bad soon. Work at the shop picked up so between that and the hospital not much wood wise is getting done. Not that it would matter but we have plenty of wood so if I don't cut we're set for a good 5 years.
