I'm hoping this is Sugar Maple, either way it's coming home to the stacks.

That area for some reason gets hit hard when we have strong winds, here's some Pine that needs help.

 

Only blow downs I get on the 4 acres next door are poplar

 

They're calling for our area to get half an inch tomorrow, that will help green up the lawns.

 

Being it's dry around here, I'm just waiting for the idiot down the road to start burning brush, does it every year during the burn ban.

 

Are you in for high winds, nothing for us yet.

 

I plan on an easy day today, I'll buck up the last Cherry an clear some trail that a top from a aspen

That's good, the wind gust have been pretty good all day up here.

 

I started hauling the Cherry out to an area in the woods so I can split it, we still have a 2 or 3 trailer loads left.

I would split it in the same area I cut it except it's a mess (this is the first time working this area) so our plan is to split it in the area in the last two pics an haul it out with the truck.

We have a family member in the hospital so my cutting is on hold, just some splitting when I can, prayers can't hurt.

Our family member was better this morning, even better this afternoon, thanks for the prayers.

 

We had good news and bad news, we'll find out how bad soon.

Work at the shop picked up so between that and the hospital not much wood wise is getting done. Not that it would matter but we have plenty of wood so if I don't cut we're set for a good 5 years.
