My wife's grandmother calls that the Catholic stutter. I have it too. Get about halfway through one kids name...uh...halfway through another...then the right one comes out.

Yesterday was the first time it rained the entire time I've been in Germany. Today it snowed here, just enough to produce 2-3cm of heavy wet snow on the grass. Crazy.

I've converted myself. Much of our machinery at work is metric and I honestly dislike working in U.S. measurements. Metric is so much simpler. The hardest part is getting over thinking in F and Miles.

I have a 22/24mm double ended wrench in my toolbag at work - everyone jokes it's the magic wrench, fits all kinds of stuff that I work on, from 1/2" tubing nuts to proximeter jamb nuts, bulkhead fittings etc..

Loved Freiberg when we were there! My BIL and sister were there for a year and a half when he talked Pfizer into moving them there.

Don't know if it is true but have you looked at the gargoyles on the church and heard the story behind it? Also I think the original sewage gutters still run through the town.

One of the nicest towns we found was Dinkelsbuhl (sp) one of the towns that was not hit during WWII. and was not touristy at all.

Started out getting the kiddos on the bus. Then did the bills and got the laundry started. Completed all the laundry throughout the day while doing all the stuff I did. Mailed the bills off and stopped at the grocery store to get what I needed to make a home made chili. I went with a bean less chili this time. Decided to try a recipe off the internet and just doctored it up a little to my liking. Then let it cook on low in the crock pot all afternoon. After that I took down three more trees in the afternoon. Pulled the logs up to the landing. And cleaned up a couple messes that I made. All and all got some stuff done today. Not as much as I would have liked, but good enough. The weather was/is great! FINALLY!

Sure thing Jack Straw. But I'm going to post the link to the recipe I found on the net because I can not take the credit for it. I changed it around a little bit to my liking. And it is great place to start.

Tell me about it. I think I'll take the bike to work at least on Friday to negate all that time inside.

Ha! You haven't seen 99 when it comes to Wheel of Fortune! Phenomenal! I can't believe some of the solutions she has come up with in such a short time.

That's part of the routine around here.....I think I have only outsolved her a couple 2-3 times in our life.
We are about the same on jeopardy though.

    We use this one.
    http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchens/slow-cooker-texas-chili-recipe.html
With a few tweaks, like 1/4 cup of chili powder, and we use sriracha instead of green chili sauce. That and we use my canned tomatoes and juice from them.

It's phenomenal. Serve it with tortillas.
