Been a lot of talk about PS chain on saws, especially 50cc. I wanted to see for myself on my own saws.

First video is my 346xp with 3/8" Oregon square filed vs 2153 with PS stihl square filed.

    Second video is vice versa.

Those are some special saws! They definitely run good!!

    3/8" full comp!! FTW!!

    On my 261, it's a different story.

I will be seeing you Friday. Save those those chains and we will do the same test with my saw. I'm bringing a 661. I hope you got a big log to throw it in! :dex:

This is a testament though, to how good Squarefile's PS chains cut.. It hung in pretty close..
He's doing a nice job on them..

Between the two of you, I have gained a lot of "perspective" on chain.

Working on one for SquareFiles place on Friday when we get together.

The wood boss is ready for the baby saw race in September. I'll not touch the chain that's on it.
    Probably...

That thing cut pretty well when I ran it and that was later in the day.

That was one of the saws that made me scratch my head..

Most would think it shouldn't run that well...... But it does! :)
