Has Ozzy ever actually been on the rails or any idea who the people are around him? He should join FHC.
Wow four pages since 8:30 this morning I didn't read the whole thread. I have a Facebook account and I go there probably once every two months if that. My daughters used to send me email pictures text me and call me on the phone, now I have to go on Facebook to find out what is going on with them because they don't do that anymore, but I told them don't count on me at all, seeing whatever you put on Facebook, you can email me text me or call me like you did in the past. I was on there kind of regular for a while just to keep in touch with them but then I started getting porn spam and all that crap and that was it, took my picture out and put in an avatar. I can't even get alerts from my daughters because somehow Facebook screwed up my email the one I used all long, saying its invalid but it is not. I can still sign in
Ok...so I will admit there are a few good things about Faceplant. This is one of my favorites that I saw there.
I don't have a page. I am contemplating starting a business page for my wood and metal stuff. I don't want the regular page. It can be good for marketing and customers can see what projects are underway. I think I would end up with a bunch of friends who are like-minded folks, craftsmen/women, and people I meet at shows. So it would probably not be too bad. Part of me says stay away.
It took me longer to unsubscribe to facebook than it did to open the account and set up my profile. I can't stand facebook. I know someone that says they have thousands of friends . UUmmm... yea... OK... If you were stranded a 1000 miles away, how many of them could you call right now and they would be there as soon as possible? oh my, now you got me started...i gotta go to bed.
