well everyone has there own way, the 275 degree i use is right from Fast Eddy. That Englander grill is basically a Fast Eddy clone, Here is Eddy and his award winning competition rib recipe, I tweak it just a bit and dont put sugar to both sides like he does
Just curious, how many gallons storage container holds a 20lb bag of pellets? What's the smallest I can get....4-5 gallon container?
I store my pellets in these, I bought 3 of them. They hold a 28 pound bag of GMG pellets perfectly. Only problem is all the spam email they send you after your order LOL http://www.dog.com/item/iris-airtight-food-storage-and-scoop-combos/498218/ pics here http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/pellet-pics.8405/
Have not used the Lumberjacks yet, although I read some really good reviews about them over on pelletheads.com Still have alot of GMG pellets left as I have not been doing much smoking lately, although I am doing a 8 pound pork butt ( pulled pork) tomorrow
Oh ok...keep me updated if you use them. Trying to find them locally since the price is $25 for a 40lb bag vs ordering which is $48. I might have to take an hour ride and stock up for this summer and next lol. Then it would be worth the trip. I did an 8lb picnic shoulder which I wanted to pull. Put it on around 3am, took 10 hours at 225. Man was that juicy and tender....it made a great lunch.
thats crazy! We ended up paying $16 a bag ( 40 pound) when we bought a ton, that included shipping to Wa
it was a group buy with some people from pelletheads.com but most of the people came from here http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,170935.0.html, this guy has put 3 group buys for Lumberjack pellets together for people in my area, I believe he ordered direct from Lumberjack
this guy is getting them for $12 and change per bag shipped http://pelletheads.com/index.php?topic=32927.0
Unfortunately pelletheads is a slow response forum or there is no one in my area. I went out and bought the 40lb lumberjack seen on Amazon for $50 shipped, I found them about 45 minutes away for $25 a bag. I know they are cheaper when you buy a pallet but didn't want to invest that much.
