Pressure washing the house today, not a fun job. I bought one of those telescoping wands a couple years ago that go 24' up.... let's just say I will be a sore puppy in a few hours. Probably a cold & soggy one too, but the washer isn't mine and I want to return it tomorrow.

It's supposed to rain all day here. I've got no motivation today to do anything outside, and even before todays rain the grass already needs it's first cut of the year.

Have I mentioned how much I hate mowing the lawn?

I'm cleaning the beds in the back of the house this morning, the plants are creeping through the leaves so I better help them out. Might go after a couple of loads of splits this afternoon, and I need to finish stacking the 16/17 splits. High of 55 today, wish was 10 deg warmer

Out mowing a yard yesterday and a lady pulls up and walks over to me. Think she's going to ask if a buddy and I could help with her yard, She says she has a big ash tree next to her house that they are going to have dropped and she heard that I cut wood. She said, "I heard your "payment" is the wood when you clean up. Apparently it's a big ol ash, man what a score. Haven't told mjdeere or getstumped that we have a job to do this summer:dex:

Yard cleanup here too. I tended the rose bed out front and added some rich mulch. The local Agway had lots of compost, manure and fertilizer from Maine. I wonder what Stinny knows about that.:D

    Good products though.

wildwest and basod I used to have a terrible time with allergis and sinus junk. Been using local honey for about 9 months and so far my allergies have been minimal. Other people around me are all funked up.

Horkn don't feel bad I hate mowing as well. It's one of those things you know your going to have to do again. Over and over.

Got the beds cleaned out but never got to the woodpiles. Instead my wife pointed to the garage and asked me to put together a christmas gift she got for me. She bought me one of those inflatable hot tubs. Her idea was to make sure we liked the idea of a hot tub before we spent more money on a permanent one. So it's filling with wafter right now and then it's time to run the heater. I'll let you all know tomorrow how it goes.:D

    Excellent Idea!!!!!

I worked at a pool store in college, MANY of my customers despised their hot tubs, alot of maintenance, $ chemicals, and $$ parts and $$$ repairs. Many have been drained and sit empty. Maybe they are better now, that was a very long time ago, but we will never have a hot tub....

I am pretty impressed with the clariten, granted only one night so far, but I woke up twice last night without the usual sinus junk! This morning was markedly better for sure.
