That's what I need after cramming the granite top on it tonight The bowl was larger than the cabinet maker planed - the front edge of the undermount sink sat back 1.5-1.75" from the front edge, somewhat of a casting imperfection in the sink but the cabinet is 3/4" face frame. Should go with the territory, had to nibble a bit from the back of the vanity face frame and grind the excess epoxy from the edges of the bowl, and it fit in with a little love tap. Oh and the backsplash was cut to 4" not 3" so my chair rail will sit down a bit, but I think it will actually look better that way
It wasn't free - it was part of the granite shop's "deal" The outer mold (underside) of the sink isn't the finished surface - has some play I talked to the guy before I set it in about the issue and he was helpful with my dilemma - said if it didn't go in he would re-glue the sink if I brought it by. It fit like a tight glove backsplash tight to my notches in the bead board The chair rail & faucet got installed tonight, need a coat of paint on the rail & second coat on the bead and I should be able to finish the plumbing+ may be set the toilet. On my days off I plan on building the mirror frame
Thanks Mirror is fixed no storage, I made it out of door casing - rabbitted out a groove 1/8" for the 36x36" mirror so the overall dimension is right at 38" same as the vanity width, used some mirror glue to the frame and nailed the frame to studs, putty and touch up (under $50 in and an 1hr of my time)
Looks great. You can get some nylon washers for your drawer pull screws. They help the screws to hold a lot better and might keep from having to cut them.
touch of Loctite on the thread tip works wonders as well(just tighten when humidity is low), I'm off by ~1/4" depth on everything needed 1-3/4" and 1-1/4 screws which HD/lowes didn't have nothing hacksaw with backer nut can't handle
