I think it was avacado at one point, it was either left out in the sun and elements for too many years before installed here. OR, you coworker used it

Got some good stuff done today. Dragged the camp road with the York rake again. It is in good shape now. Also lightly went over the front yard again and prepped it for seeding. Dragged three logs out of the woods that I cut the other day. Getting closer to having the customer's order filled. Hopefully moving them next Saturday or the Saturday after. Used a hand steel rake to smooth things off in the yard and the wife and kids picked up all the sticks and rocks. I then put the backhoe back on the tractor. (Should not need the three point hitch again until it is time to cut the grass and brush along the trails and a couple areas on the property.) Then I seeded about 3/4 of the front yard with the walk behind spreader, and lightly raked it in where I thought it needed it the worst. Then the wife and I spread 6 bails of straw out and covered 95% of the seeded area. Cleaned everything up and put it all away. Rain is suppose to begin tonight/tomorrow.

Just venting a bit after having my hands all over used crappers today:D

a couple years ago our asset manager decided to cut cleaning services from a $36 MILLION budget:headbang: - we take rounds on the men's bathroom cleaning schedule once a week...
just don't catch it after a certain individual has been on shift.

Sometimes I wonder what these guys houses look like and then realize I'm in Alabama, some of these guys grew up with outhouses

I got my tires rotated on the Audi. Trimmed the honeysuckle vine. Went for a 2.5 mile walk with my wife, cooked burgers on the grill, watched motorcycles race on the road course on TV in a downpour, drank a couple drinks, and had a choco taco.

Back to work tomorrow AM. I've got more to do here on the yard and house, and not enough time.

Here's a pic of my allroad, in the lowest suspension setting. IMG_20150419_164159149.jpg

It's dirty in that pic too. I love silver vehicles for that. It's a fun car, the swiss army knife of cars. 40v 4.2 liter v8, and, with the right hitch, it tows over 4000lbs, and has nearly 9" of ground clearance on level 4. But it sucks gas, 20 mpg is all the better it gets. Real burled walnut inside too.

    Ahh, today's checklist-
    • shovel new trench in snow for dog. Dog needs variety in pee/poo locations or so she told me.
    • Re-locate freezer in garage to new spot.
    • Install new 35" wide beer fridge/freezer to new spot. 1/4" clearance, it worked out for once.
    • Lug dislocated cabinets from garage to downstairs "bonus room".
    • Re-position multiple cases of water into crawlspace.
    • Measure and chart area for new water purifiers.
    • drink beer 'cause I'm toast for the night.
..and no, I'll not be replacing my avocado green tub anytime soon. The toilet and sink were enough grief, the tub stays. (for the time being). ;)

Yup, snowing like a screaming banshee now. The yard is white once again. I hope those wild west people didn't feel like sharing their "wealth" from last week!

Cave/workshop/computer station is just way past time for attention. Cleaning up and sorting out now in 59f temps. Whats a guy to do? Built a fire in the eldorado and getting warm during the snow/rain/wind mix outside!
