    Does anyone else have "savers" stores near them. We have one in the next town over and they are kinda like a Salvation Army or big brothers org where they accept used goods for resale. I'm bringing some household goods over today. I wonder if they are a non-profit and where does the money go?

    Yep, we saw TTOE, and whiplash both as soon as they came out on DVD or Redbox. We really liked both movies. I thought whiplash was excellent, for anyone unless you need "earmuffs". TTOE, was great acting and tough to watch personally as my dad has Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS). Both of those movies were soooooooooo much better than Birdman, which was over rated in many ways.


    Oh, I watched TTOE, then like 2 weeks later, Interstellar. That was a black hole trip watching those 2 movies nearly back to back.:wacky:

    We've got "Re-store" stores here that are the same deal. They are non profit, part of habitat for humanity.

    Making brunch after church for my mom soon. She came up to visit her brother, my uncle, in the hospital. Unfortunately he probably won't be long for this world.

    There is one in Portsmouth NH that we drop things off at....and shop there as well-you can get some great almost new or even new stuff. Hit or miss of course.

    Its non profit as far as I know and they will give you a donation receipt for taxes. A receipt I have now shows Epilepsy Foundation.

    I split almost a cord of rounds, I had to get the saw running because I ran out. Stacked it all, came inside and fell asleep for an hour. Must be getting old. :BrianK:

    Nice sunny day out and we went and helped out at a school fundraiser. I took pics and will start a thread in the Firewood neighbourhood for you. Just relaxing now and then to catch up on some chores.

    :D She had a BLAST!! Didn't even skip a beat after a face-first fall into a puddle in the back of the house. Came inside soaked, rosy cold cheeks, and happy :)
