I'm not certain, they have not said exactly how it happened except that the minivan hit the trailer of the truck and that the minivan driver was to blame. Unfortunately a child was hurt to some extent from his dad's mistake.

This is nothing like that pileup you just had in Wyoming though. It was dry, and there was no reason for the accident to happen due to weather.

The weekly antique flea market season opens today. It is a little chilly now, but predicted to be around 60. I am looking forward to see what is there. We are sort of early birds when we go. A lot of people show up to it later in the morning, since social media has turned it in to the destination place to be at.

I have to move some logs with the tractor this morning. I cut them yesterday. Then I also have to work part of the day on O.T., just 4 hours though. Then I absolutely have to seed my front yard before all the rain comes this week. I went and bought seed yesterday, then stopped at a farm and bought 6 bales of straw to cover it up with. I May lightly rake it into the loose soil as well before I put the straw down. Going to be another busy day. Time to go cook bacon, eggs, and toast.

Gas, I highly recommend the raking the ground before you put the seed down. Been doing that for over 20 years now and it sure makes a difference. I even lightly rake once more after the seed is down-just to slightly cover with a bit of dirt...
Hope you don't get too much rain and wash the seed away from under the straw.
If you have too much extra dirt, you can always roll up your lawn and sweep it under...like this guy!

Back from the flea market. There was an old Echo chainsaw for sale. It was used on a tree farm and the owner kept a smaller version for himself. It started on 4 pulls. The spark plug was on the back of the saw under the handle. It also had some Chinese or Japanese name near the Echo lettering. It was a nice little screamer. Manual oiler.

There were 3 vintage Homelites Super EZ something or others.

Very few decent old tools for sale. :(

I HAVE to rotate my tires on the Audi today. The front outsides wear, and the back insides wear. They are directional, so I can only go front to back.

The car eats tires, due to the adjustable height air suspension. That's just the way these C5 allroads are. I even pick out tires with more solid inside and outside shoulders to limit the wear. That helps, but only so much.

That was last weekend's deal for us here, last nite my wife rented "The theory of everything" & "Whiplash".....
We hadn't talked about "Theory" but I did ask her to look for "whiplash." Well, I read a few posts back what some thought of "TTOE"(Horkn, you saw it, yes?), I thought it was so-so; "Whiplash" on the other hand, besides being FULL of some hard language, was overall a pretty good flic. Slow to start, lots of ups & downs, but finished real strong, IMO.
And now it's gonna rain all day here:hair:!
